So, if you’re ready to embark on this journey of self-discovery, let’s dive in and explore the steps you can take to discover your purpose!
Step 1: Reflect on Your Values:
Your values are the principles and beliefs that guide your actions and decisions in life. They reflect what is most important to you and what you stand for. Take some time to reflect on what values you hold dear, such as honesty, integrity, kindness, respect, or excellence. Think about why these values are important to you and how they have influenced your decisions and actions in the past. Identifying your values can help you make choices that align with your beliefs and give you a sense of purpose and direction.
Step 2: Explore Your Interests:
Your interests are the things that you enjoy doing and are passionate about. They can be related to your hobbies, career, or personal life. Think about what activities or subjects you enjoy, and what brings you the most joy and fulfillment. Consider how you can incorporate your interests into your daily life, whether it’s through a hobby, volunteering, or pursuing a career in a related field. When you align your interests with your purpose, you can experience a deeper sense of meaning and satisfaction.
Step 3: Consider Your Strengths:
Your strengths are the things that come naturally to you and that you excel at. They may include skills such as problem-solving, communication, creativity, or leadership. Reflect on your strengths and how you can use them to make a positive impact in the world. Consider how you can leverage your strengths to pursue a career or volunteer opportunity that aligns with your values and interests. When you use your strengths in service of a greater purpose, you can experience a greater sense of fulfillment and satisfaction.
Step 4: Identify Your Passions:
Your passions are the causes, issues, or problems that you feel deeply about and want to make a difference in. They may include things like social justice, environmental sustainability, animal welfare, or human rights. Identify what you feel most passionate about and consider how you can use your talents, skills, and resources to create positive change in the world. When you align your passions with your purpose, you can experience a greater sense of fulfillment and meaning.
Step 5: Look for Patterns:
Patterns in your life can provide valuable insight into your purpose. Look for recurring themes or experiences that have been particularly meaningful or impactful. Reflect on what these patterns reveal about your values, interests, and passions. Consider how you can build on these patterns to create a purposeful life that aligns with your goals and aspirations.
Step 6: Experiment and Try New Things:
Finally, don’t be afraid to experiment and try new things. Pursue new challenges, explore different career paths, and volunteer for different organizations or causes. This can help you discover new interests, passions, and strengths that you may not have realized before. Be open to new experiences and embrace the journey of self-discovery. Remember, discovering your purpose is an ongoing process that requires patience, perseverance, and a willingness to take risks.
When you align your purpose with your values, interests, and passions, you can experience a greater sense of fulfillment and meaning in your life. So, embrace the journey of self-discovery and let your passion for life guide you to your purpose!

Definite Major Purpose and Minor Purpose
A Definite Major Purpose (DMP) is an absolutely specific, crystal clear, and measurable goal that aligns with an individual’s values, passions, and interests. It is a statement of what one wants to achieve in life.
It is often considered the primary goal or the most important goal that an individual wants to achieve. It is important to note that a DMP should be specific, realistic and achievable to the one setting the goal, and should have a deadline.
A Minor Purpose is a goal that should be in alignment with the Definite Major Purpose and it is an essential building block towards a DMP. These are the goals that must be taken seriously and must be achieved. The road to our Definite Major Purpose is paved by achieving our Minor Purposes.
For example, if one’s definite major purpose is to become a successful entrepreneur, a minor purpose might be to establish ways to better utilize the 353 days of opportunity or complete a business course, or watch valuable YouTube content like Grant Cardone , Les Brown, Steve Harvey or similar, or save a certain amount of money to invest in a business etc…
Continuous action is required in every aspect of life, nature is always in action, always. To achieve anything, we must be in a state of constant action.
